3rd Consortium Meeting

The HySeas III Consortium, represented by Ferguson Marine, won the Innovation Award at the 2019 Green Awards. Consortium partner Kongsberg Maritime also scooped an award for their work on the autonomous ship Yara Birkeland.

A HAZID workshop for the Hyseas III project was held from 29 April to 2 May, covering batteries, fuel cells and hydrogen.

Preliminary research on the size of the potential market for fuel cells amongst ropax ferries

A workshop at consortium partner DLR's premises in Oldenburg to agree assumptions to be used for economic, environmental and socio-economic impact assessments.

Hyseas III was nominated for an award at the Green Tech Festival in Berlin

A fuel cell was shipped from Ballard in Denmark to Kongsberg in Norway to start commissioning of the fuel cell and hydrogen storage in preparation for a system test at the Energy Lab in Kongsberg.
